Business Global Brigades Trip to Panama: Sign Up for June 2014

 The Business Global Brigade is a volunteer service that aims to empower rural communities across the globe by giving business guidance and financial services. This year our students will be traveling to Panama in order to gain a hands on experience with community banks and local businesses. Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization and as a Business Brigade our mission is to provide micro-enterprise consultations and workshops to under-resourced communities using savings and loans credit unions established and monitored by Global Brigades”.  The business brigade to Panama is a 7-day trip and the estimated cost is $790 per individual. This estimate is inclusive of all meals, lounging, coordinators, translators and in-country transportation. An additional airfare fee is needed which ranges from $600 to $1000. Our primary goal is to reduce this cost by fundraising and donations. The trip will take place from June 14, 2014 to June 20, 2014.
