Community Organizer
UnFRACK the DNC

The UnFrack the DNC Organizer will work with Food & Water Watch's communications, online outreach, and organizing teams and with our partners to move forward the plan. This position will also be responsible for logistics and implementation of UnFrack the DNC and related lead-up tactics, for instance bottom-lining things like transportation and housing. This position will also hold grassroots mobilization responsibilities, helping us to develop the grassroots infrastructure necessary to mobilize thousands. The UnFrack the DNC Organizer will work out of our office in Center City Philadelphia.

Union Campaign Researcher

Our research teams conduct industry, corporate, real estate and political research and analysis to develop and carry out campaigns focused on winning economic justice for low wage, primarily immigrant hospitality workers. Our campaigns organize non-union workers and secure improved standards for existing union members in the food service, gaming and casino, and hotel industries.

Public Policy Intern

External Affairs Internship
Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania

The External Affairs Intern will assist the department in implementing communications and legislative strategies concerning reproductive rights, family planning, abortion, the Affordable Care Act, and sexuality education. The Intern will also assist in coordinating PPSP's network of volunteers, processing new volunteers into our system, and organizing grassroots activities to support PPSP's legislative and electoral priorities.

Community Resources Manager
Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania

The Community Resources Manager works with, volunteers, agency staff, Planned Parenthood supporters, and community members to help meet external affairs department goals, including increasing Planned Parenthood's visibility promoting our issues and services, and broadening our advocacy base. This position manages PPSP's entire volunteer program and promotes volunteerism through effective recruitment, screening, training and placement of volunteers. This position also supervises the grassroots organizing staff and assists in planning community outreach, including some campaign work through our adjunct electoral organization.
