The Choices Feminist Campus Leadership Program is the world’s largest pro-choice student network, and we’re looking for National Campus Organizers!
The Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) is seeking highly motivated and passionate graduating seniors and recent college  graduates (1-3 years out of college) to serve as National Campus Organizers for our Choices Feminist Campus Leadership Program. Multiple positions are available in both our Washington, DC and Beverly Hills offices.
National Campus Organizers play an essential role at the Feminist Majority Foundation. They are responsible for launching and maintaining pro-choice, feminist activist groups on campuses nationwide and working with student activists to implement campaigns as well as conducting leadership and issue-based training for student leaders.
This position requires at least 10 weeks of travel for work per academic year and regular communication with student groups and faculty on campuses. All eligible applicants must have a current and valid driver’s license, be proficient in social media, have excellent public speaking and writing skills, and enjoy networking and communicating with other people whether by telephone, text, email or while attending conferences and workshops.
National Campus Organizers will have the opportunity to:
  • Gain first-hand experience with a national grassroots feminist organization
  • Lead and shape national, pro-choice, civil rights and feminist campus campaigns
  • Serve as a lead grassroots organizer
  • Train the next generation of feminist leaders
  • Collaborate with other social justice organizations nationwide on key issues facing women
QUALIFICATIONS AND APPLICATION
Successful candidates will have prior leadership experience working on social justice issues, which includes but is not limited to having been involved in a feminist, environmentalist, racial justice, LGBT, and/or student government organization on their own campuses. In addition, great applicants will be able to demonstrate that they are self-starters with the endurance to work on long grassroots campaigns who are willing to adjust their schedules and/or time commitments to a project with short notice and enjoy work in a fast-paced environment.
