Recent Graduates Program Vacancy Announcements

The Recent Graduates Program affords developmental experiences in the Federal Government intended to promote possible civil service careers to individuals who have recently graduated from qualifying institutions. This new program targets recent graduates of trade and vocational schools, community colleges, universities, and other qualifying educational institutions or programs.

Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must apply within two years of degree or certificate completion.  Veterans who, due to military service are unable to apply for positions, will have up to two years from their release or discharge from active duty, not to exceed six years after degree and/or certificate completion.  If applicants have completed all requirements for an associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational, or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution on or after December 27, 2010, and before July 10, 2012, their eligibility window is extended until July 10, 2014. 

Passport Specialist RGPs will be placed in a two-year career development program that may lead to a non-competitive career conditional appointment in the Federal Government.

Recent Graduates Program vacancy announcements are currently posted and limited to the first 2,000 applicants.  Applicants can apply through USAJobs at www.usajobs.gov.  Positions will be posted at the GS-05 and GS-07 level in the following series:
